Good, valid points. If we didn’t have a system that rewarded the lazy for their votes by paying their medical, housing, education, food, but demanded they work to get a hand up rather than a hand out, we would have less self-centered people. I worked in an inner city hospital, where patients cried poor and demanded free layette vouchers, only to leave the hospital in Cadillacs and Lincoln’s or Mercedes. They stole everything not locked down: sheets, pillows, blankets, pillow cases, stainless steel bath basins, formula, diapers, bilirubin meters, thermometers, etc. They would then call back at all hours of the day and night looking for the hospital to provide free formula, weeks after discharge, because they used all their WIC money. They needed cab vouchers because their worthless families and baby daddies wouldn’t give them a ride home. They demanded to stay another day because they had no ride. Their “visitors” could come to the hospital to steal sandwiches, juice, ginger ale meant for patients, but they were too worthless to provide a ride home. There are a lot of worthless bottom feeders who care only about themselves. It is time to end the gravy train reward to these able bodied men and women, both citizens and illegals. I get it. Childcare is an issue when you have worthless, unreliable and unhelpful “family” who are to intent on smoking weed and watching Jerry Springer, but think outside of the box. Reach within yourself and develop pride that you are the first one in your family to graduate from high school, to move to a better neighborhood, to be independent of government control. Start out small, start a business from your home: daycare for a friend, so he or she can work, sew some clothes and sell them, grow vegetables in the spring/summer and sell them in your neighborhood, etc. Where there is will, there is a way.
