I’m old enough to know the expression ,, be a man put your big boy pants on … however I’m a mom as well and mothers in between potty training told there little boys .. put your big boy pants on .. pull ups … atleast I heard this …now they are calling depends for seniors “big girl panties” ,, I hear it all the time care givers or grown kids use this term I think they do it for dignity . .. “ need to buy big girl panties for my mom “.
