I do find it highly disconcerting that so many here are defending people who just came out of nowhere, and basically tell them what they want to hear... And profit from it.

No, what's odd is the reaction overall, not from you personally.
And his content does qualify for monetization. There are emails that were released of her {Ariel} and another poster talking about how they could help each other out. There's an entire circle of them interconnected.
And he profits In the same way Dom did for the last 18 months. The only reason Dom was demonetized was for a very specific post\ posts that espoused the same general theme.
His content was questionable the entire time he has been posting. He was still allowed to profit from it.
