Now we see why Putin was willing to be interviewed and drop some truth bombs. It was done right in the middle of the funding fight. Timing is everything.
I think there is also the fact that the MSM media was well and truly blasted off the face of the Earth, let alone out of the park. The long-form, loosely structured interview was not only history-making because Putin finally spoke to the world, after having been made out to be the man afflicted by the worst type of evil. It was that the un-clip had more than a billion views, when the propaganda networks are lucky to count viewerships in the Millions, and that is with airport contracts to play their channels 24/7.
That is orders of magnitude more.

What new information do you think you heard regarding Ukraine from that interview? I contend, save from the lengthy history lesson, there was nothing new of any consequence and it was all information we already knew.
A lot of what Putin said we do know. However, he made comments about Victoria Nuland and the c_a running the show, about continuing aggression by the west etc. A lot of the American and even European people don't know this stuff. Putin has not been able to make his case up till now on the western media. I think the timing is important particularly when the DS is crying for more Ukraine aid.
