There was an idea that this tone of neon purple just fucks with your soul, best i can describe it is.. Google 'Roku city stroll Screensaver'... Verizon wireless or tmobile was using it in a bunch of their commercials too, it seems like they portray this world where all the lights are a weird, sinister vibe altering purple wavelength.

Remember the streetlights that were all like a weird purple color? Kinda pertained at the time iirc
