I DISLIKE THIS propaganda campaign. It is insulting and missed the mark in a spectacular way!
Washing the feet back in biblical times was done to people who were barefoot or who wore open sandals and had traveled miles or days walking in the dirt or the desert and their feet were blistered, filthy and dry. To wash those feet was an act of mercy and kindness.
NONE OF THESE PEOPLE NEEDED THEIR FEET WASHED. Good Lord.
This was LIBERAL VIRTUE SIGNALING to the extreme, almost an exercise designed to demonstrate the need to grovel, degrade and subjugate oneself to a stranger who may or may not deserve it. What's next? Blow jobs, just because? Ugh.
And also - why were MOST of the grovelers who were ON THEIR KNEES 'serving' others primarily White people? Just why? Where was the diversity in serving? Why were the white people (one exception) shown to be the ones having to get on their knees to 'serve' the other person who was not white, not straight, not a citizen, not a Christian? Just why?
This is propaganda. And even worse, those being 'served' seemed either confused, ungrateful and disaffected, but never appreciative.
Yes he did, and at the time Judas was still one of the twelve, a disciple.
Also, this convo could go a thousand ways but I won't argue theology over it. If you or anyone wants to grovel on their belly and think they are emulating Christ Jesus, go ahead but you will be deluding yourselves.

Zero out of 5 stars!
Also, Jesus didn't wash the feet of his enemies like this horrible ad says.
His enemies get slain, cast into the outer darkness, or thrown into a lake of fire.
He washed Judas’ feet.

Exactly this….however with the amount of scriptural illiteracy it goes much farther than it should.
