The toughest "patriots are in control" pill for me is how we had most of humanity on Earth injected with a DS mystery juice. Basically the laws on Earth apparently allow a tiny few people to inject everyone on planet Earth and the ingredients don't even have to be revealed.

Well you can look at this a bunch of different ways. You had a choice. Sounds harsh but, anyone this World needed didn't take it. What if this will be used as a way to introduce medbeds or something of that sort that's a full-on cure-all. Step back and remember this is War, and literally the biggest battle in History transpiring. There will be collateral damage. It is also a genius way to enact Crimes Against Humanity on literally everyone who participated. Could be the 'giant trap'.
