My son has Type 1 diabetes. My family has a history of type 2 diabetes. I'm not sure if vaccines are the culprit, but he did get a few ear infections when he was little. He was given something by his doctor which he said could have accelerated his diagnosis. His pancreas is basically dead and can't produce insulin, obviously that is what type 1 diabetes does. It's just weird that he is the only one in my whole family that has it.
