That should have been over before it started. From what I understand, another prosecutor may be assigned the case, but if upon review they find they don't have a case, they could refuse to prosecute. I think that is some of what can happen. I hope if it is one of the scenarios, it is one that is used by any incoming prosecutor and they decide the case doesn't hold water-because it doesn't.
