I would imagine that most truck drivers would be happy to stay out of NYC. My brother-in-law used to drive a truck, and he told me that the NYC cops wouldn't let him stop at red lights, because as soon as those rigs come to a halt, the thieves are all over the load, stealing whatever they can carry.
