He was shit upon during his confirmation horrifically and ever since. Dems are truly evil fucks. I remember as a younger person watching Bork’s confirmation hearings live and was sickened by the dems attacking him, Metzenbaum, Ted Kennedy, John Glenn, Rockefeller, Daschle, et al. Bork would have likely been the greatest mind ever to sit on the bench. I despised dems before then, Reagan was the first President I voted for. My hatred for dems really increased witnessing this travesty. Only 2 dems voted for him while several RINOs voted against led by Specter.
