Judge in Trump civil fraud case denies request to delay $355 million penalty

Judge Arthur Engoron has denied a request from Trump's legal team to avoid paying a $355 million penalty in a civil fraud case brought against him.

A necessary step I believe so the appeals court can zero (or reduce) the bond requirement for appeal.

Yea I have this feeling when all is said and done that the bond for appeal will be set very low.

The problem the State has here is that there are in reality no victims and so expedited remedy is not imperative.
