It is coerced. Everyone is encouraged to donate to people/pacs that the business claims are good for their business. That will help them grow as a company. Most blindly donate to what ever the suggestion is and most for brownie points not really for personal politics. And a lot feel that if they donate to the right they will pay a toll for it.
