Well, after hearing that there’s an additive in Cheerios that makes a person sterile, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in plenty of other food, and in plenty of other countries. When I was young, the prevailing mentality was to do everything you could to not get pregnant until you were ready. Young women were terrified of it. There was no “trying to get pregnant”. It didn’t exist. A few decades later, that was (almost) all young women talked about. Very noticeable shift. Something radical happened in fertility.
