I've heard it said that if we will just take a single step toward God, He will come a million miles toward us. He wants to have a relationship with us, but He won't force us. This is the reason we were given freedom of choice. If we make the choice to love God, it will make him SO happy, and consequently, we will be incredibly happy and content at the same time.
