A report provides information on how gender-affirming care such as the use of puberty blockers can positively impact the mental health of transgender and nonbinary teenagers and young adults.
On February 23, 2022, Texas governor Greg Abbott told the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to conduct thorough investigations into any reports of minors undergoing elective gender confirmation procedures and called for Texans to report incidences of children receiving gender-affirming care. A day earlier the state’s Attorney General issued an opinion that equated care such as puberty blockers to child abuse. Much of the public furor against the actions of Texas state officials centered on how the actions would impact the mental health of gender diverse children. A new report examines how receiving gender-affirming care impacts the mental health of transgender and nonbinary adolescents and young adults, who are often at risk of suboptimal mental health outcomes due to discrimination and stigma.1
The investigators performed a prospective observational cohort study at an urban multidisciplinary gender clinic. The participants were transgender or nonbinary individuals who were seeking gender-affirming care. They used the Patient Health Questionnaire 9-item (PHQ-9) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item (GAD-7) scales to assess mental health outcomes.
A total of 104 adolescents and young adults aged 13 to 20 years participated in the study: 63 transmasculine, 27 transfeminine, 10 nonbinary or gender fluid, and 4 who either did not respond to the gender identity question or responded, “I don’t know.” At the study’s baseline, 59 were found to have moderate or severe depression; 52 had moderate to severe anxiety; and 45 indicated engaging in self harm of having thoughts of suicide.
By the time the study ended, 69 had been given puberty blockers, gender-affirming hormones, or both, whereas 35 hadn’t received either intervention. After adjusting for both potential confounders and temporal trends, the investigators found that the participants who had started either intervention had 60% lower odds of depression and 73% lower odds of suicidality than among those who had not been given gender-affirming care. No link between receiving puberty blockers or gender-affirming hormones and anxiety were discovered.
The investigators concluded that receiving gender-affirming medical interventions were linked to lowered risks for negative mental health outcomes over the course of 12 months. The results contribute to a growing collection of evidence that indicates that gender-affirming care is linked to overall improved well-being to transgender and nonbinary teenagers and young adults.

so first of all, they are openly admitting to practicing "gender-affirming care" on minors, something that they had previously denied.
in clown world, a person who is not old enough to give their informed-consent to other things like cigarettes, or tattoos... is somehow old enough to give their informed-consent to puberty blockers and "gender-affirming hormones"
i was surprised by the breakdown of the study participants.
ill have to do some more digging, but if this breakdown is accurately representative of the numbers in the real world, it is showing us that the most common form of gender non-conformity is "transmasculine"
what could account for such a lopsided number of girls over boys?
my first impression is that its probably the CHO-PCOS model.
it is because CHO cells are the most commonly used cells in vaccine production, that PCOS is the most common endocrine problem in women.
it is because females have ovaries, and males don't,
that there are so many more "transmasculine" girls, than "transfeminine" boys.
i go into more detail in this post:

i suspect this sentence is a typo, but the way the sentence came out seems revealing to me. its like they are preemptively trying to disprove any link between these treatments and increasing anxiety.
but the big question here is, why do these treatments seem to work?
maybe, just maybe if theres a pubescent girl who thinks she might be a boy, the answer is to give her more estrogen, not to give her more testosterone, or "T" in their trans sub-culture lingo.
it just seems to me that a lot of this "gender" stuff boils down to basic biology and evolution.
every other species has this "LOOK AT ME" presentation that they show to the world.
a big buck has a big rack.
a peacock has big feathers.
why do women put on make up?
because LOOK AT ME!
my nephew has a childhood friend who was born a boy, and is now "transfeminine"
or a TIM (trans-identifying male, considered derogatory)
maybe the reason the kids in those study got better, is because they felt they were being seen, and attended to.
imagine if you are a little boy, and you wake up in the morning and put on blue jeans, a tee-shirt, and tennis shoes, and go out for the day, and literally nobody comments on how nice you look...
now imagine that same boy wakes up in the morning, and DECIDES to change his "gender" or his outward presentation to the world.
he DECIDES to put on a dress, some make-up, and some high-heel shoes, and goes out for the day. and literally all day long, he is gawked at, and told he is STUNNING AND BRAVE.
now, in the future, which "GENDER" is this poor boy going to want to gravitate toward?
maybe we need to tell little boys who wear cowboy boots, cowboy hats and big belt buckles that they are STUNNING AND BRAVE?
so we already know that gender dysphoria is highly associated with Aspergers, which is now part of the autism spectrum of disorders.
but on the flip side of "gender dysphoria" is "gender euphoria"
"gender euphoria" is officially a "just a crazy, baseless conspiracy theory", which should be a big clue to dig deeper...
gender euphoria is the euphoric feeling that a person gets, when they are "seen" the way they want to be seen.
for example, if a boy wants to be "seen as" a girl, and so he dresses up like a girl, and then he gets a lot of "positive feedback" by presenting himself as a girl, he gets a feeling of euphoria, or near -orgasm
he "gets off on it".
and like many other vices and addictions, the more they get off on it, the more their life starts to revolve around it.
this is why trans people insist on 100% audience participation.
LOOK AT ME... THE WAY I WANT TO BE SEEN.
if only ONE person doesn't LOOK AT THEM, THE WAY THEY WANT TO BE SEEN, it shatters their illusion,
and thats mean, and hateful, and oppressive, you bigots...
so for example, the pronoun thing. every time you buy into the pronoun thing, by actively using someones "preferred pronouns", you are wittingly or unwittingly participating in their kink.
and if you understand what is going on, and refuse to participate in their wankery,
then you are transphobic, un-democratic, exclusionary, white nationalist, with a hint of nazi-fascist...
jerk me off with your eyes, bigot...
so anyway, my nephews friend has been wearing what i assume to be a stuffed bra,
and i can't help but wonder... who are the breasts for?
are they for him, so that when he looks down at his chest, he sees these big breasts?
are they for him, so that when he looks in a mirror, he sees these big breasts?
what goes on in his mind, when he's "putting on his gender" in the morning?
wow this stuffed bra look stunning and brave today!
actually, i think the stuffed bra is for other people,
namely the straight males who gawk at females.
"the male gaze" has been a known-thing for generations.
so he puts on this stuffed bra, to give the "presentation" of breasts,
or a nice rack, in deer parlance.
if you listen to girls and women talk about this subject, you would understand what i mean...
apparently, from a females perspective, there are lots of men who stare at women, just a little too long, they gawk at women, and make them feel uncomfortable, like they are about to become victimized in some way.
and honestly, i feel that women's feelings on this are justified, because most western women have been the victim of some sort of sex abuse, at some point in their life.
so if you were to ask a beautiful woman, "do men ever gawk at you?"
the women would say, "oh yes, every day!... its kinda creepy actually"...
and if you were to ask her, "and at what age were you, when men started gawking at you?"
the answer would shock you... it would be like at age 5 for example.
and its all ages of men.
"creepy old men, gawking at young girls"
but this is the experience of the beautiful people.
what about the vast majority of people who aren't beautiful, and don't get gawked at as much?
some of them like the attention.
they like being gawked at.
and if you dye your hair neon green, or bright blue, or purple, people will probably gawk at you,
why would they want people to gawk at them?
because LOOK AT ME.
validate my gender.
stare at my fake rack.
tell me I'm stunning and brave,
bigot.
Well they got what they wanted. Check back.
