Coffee snob too, but those words actually have meaning and are derived from the people's and ethnicities that discovered crafting coffee. Shitbucks did not invent those terms....
You say cold brew, but that is just as much as a coffee language term as latte or cappuccino...
Come on man, at least be honest and genuine and not a flipping hypocrite.
No, not true at all. Hot brewing by using any of the common coffee brewers (running steaming hot water through coffee grounds) brings out all the acids in coffee, making it taste bitter, and the longer the pot stays on the heating element, the more acidic it tastes.
Cold Brewing (in a fridge overnight, or as I do it, TWO nights, 48 hours) does not allow the acids to come through, it reduces the acidity by about 70% or greater.
It's really a thing, and if you care about coffee, you should look into it. I bought my first cold brewer from Amazon, a Japanese thing that works great. I now keep two cold brewers going in my fridge so that when one gets down to about half, I start the other one going.
It is LITERALLY cold brewed, as in, brewed slowly, slowly overnight (or longer) in a cold environment like a fridge, resulting in a truly great coffee experience.
Don't demean things you don't know anything about, at least until you've tried it. And if you don't like the term "cold brewed".... um, then what would YOU call it?
I know good full and well what a cold brew is.
You completely missed the forest for the trees on this one.
Remember when you said
"" "Instead it was latte this, frappachino that, grande, etc, and I refused to learn their language.
Good riddance." ""
Yeah, cold brew goes in that list too bud.
Your a big damn hypocrite lol, and oblivious at that, but guess it takes some missing brain cells to be a hypocrite in the first place.
You misspelled "you're."
Hook line and sinker. Good boy.
