Think about this. If FBI indeed took possession of the LockBit servers, how would LockBit "regroup" and threaten to release on March 2nd?

My read is that this is just "finetuning the timing" by the WHs.

Because if you can install ransomware on those computers, you can exfiltrate data from those same computers.
