This would change overnight if agents who forced the loss of that baby via keeping a pregnant woman outside in the cold were procecuted for negligent manslaughter.
I am all for police being able to take care of violent criminals quickly how it is needed, though common sense should tell you that a pregnant woman generally isn't a risk & needs to be kept warm with at the least a coat & shoes in weather that cold.
Also giving agents immunity from job punishment for following the constitution vs following bad orders to get the check may help.
I really need to think on this. These guys give the good law enforcement a much harder job.
Like with the murder of Lavoy Fincum by FBI, the first agents who shot should be tried for murder from what I could see in the video. The others began shooting after that first shot was fired & he was checking the first bullet wound IMO. I understand that in a situation like that you hear gun fire & instinct kicks in, but that first guy should not have ever pulled the trigger from what I saw. I am trying to apply a similar principle to this situation. ie Go after the first agent to provoke hostile action where other LEOs normally would have prevailed with cooler heads.
Though when split seconds count, it is all self defense at that point in all sides that are not the aggressor.
