I'm going to start a movement for salaried employees to have Feb 29th as a holiday. It's not fair that we have to work for a day that isn't really on the books. Give Hourly people the option, and that will allow society to function normally.

Is yours a yearly salary? It takes the Earth 365 1/4 days to rotate the Sun. Leap year is the way to conveniently adjust for that extra 1/4th day without jacking up the clock, have a better solution? As a salaried person, you're getting paid for an extra 1/4th day every year that is not a leap year. Such a trivial thing to complain about, IMO. Yes, I have worked on salary several times in my life.
A legitimate gripe would be over Daylight Savings Time.
That crap needs to go.
Thanks a lot slave driver. Gonna hit you up for reparations in 200 years.
I'd owe you for 50 days of labor - one day for each leap year. I'll write you a check in 200 years.
