Should there be more in these?
They’re post type of “there seems to be a pattern, but eyes are needed for cause”.
Used to be “research needed” tagged threads. How do those get going?
I looked at your posts. The first one just isn't that interesting imo. Not because it isn't relevant, but because there are bigger fish to fry. For example, we are far past the point of needing to prove there are issues with local politicians and their gender preferences. These types of things are currently on the world stage in a much bigger way.
Your post on the bond issues was pretty interesting to me, but I clicked on all your links and couldn't find out how you got your data. I'm not saying it wasn't there, but you really need to give more info. In addition, while it is something I might dig into, it isn't something that many would, because again, it's not that big of a deal.
I mean, it is, it's potentially a massive red pill, if the information is included in a larger context of how easy it is to indebt a nation to the banks, but first people need to understand the fuckery in what debt really is, who we are really indebted to, and how bonds control the world. Only with that context can people potentially understand how bad the bond issue really is.
I understand those things pretty well, so I am quite interested in the details of bond issuance v. voter numbers, but most people don't, and thus won't. Or, in this regard they too feel there are bigger fish to fry, or perhaps lower hanging fruit. For example, in order to get the bond/voter numbers out there in a meaningful way, you have to do a lot of digging. You have to then put all the numbers into nice graphs or spreadsheets, and you have to include all the receipts in easy to access ways (not as you did, but in ways that I don't have to pull my hair out trying to find your data).
How do those get going?
I'm not sure. It's not really that kind of board. I mean, it is sometimes, but more often it's more of a request for research that's already been done. There are too many people who have already done so much research. So asking for information can be useful if you catch someone who has looked into something specific. But asking people to do more research along a certain line isn't really that common. I mean, it happens. I do it. Others do it, but it's not common, so it's not something that you can just do and expect results.
With regards to this post, it would have gone better if you put in info on what specifically you found interesting with direct ties to the data itself. For example, if you said "go to xx minute in this video and look at the melted car two feet away from the perfectly fine tree" it might have gotten a little more traction. People don't want to have to look that hard to be motivated. The motivation should be contained within the post and should be very easy to access. Receipts are important. Getting to those receipts directly is important. Those are the types of posts that I appreciate most, and so do most others from what I have seen.
There is just too much stuff to dig in to. If you want people to dig into the stuff you are interested in, you need to do a fair bit of legwork yourself. Make it accessible, easy to see and to connect with.
You really should have some links to the coverage you feel is compelling in your post.
Will add, thanks!
But any look at this stuff will show it. Especially the video.
Unlike Lahaina, they haven’t hid anything.. yet anyway. Just claiming it’s wildfires.
If you want one that’s interesting, and seems to involve someone that knows something, check the last two links in the main thread out.
Last one is here:

This is one of a few posts I’ve made that seem fairly significant to me, but none have gotten any traction.

Oh well, I guess. Must not be as important as they seem to me. This one got some viewage, anyway.
