She didnt eat her breakfast. My wife said she slept all day. This really isnt too abnormal for her.
I got home, she was looking extra sad. She always looks sad. The lump looked like it got bigger. I really wish i could have the lump removed or drained. She eventually git off the couch. Wagging her tail with a little spring in her step. Then she was looking for food. Since it was like 8pm i didnt put anything but cbd oil in her food. She ate it and hounded us for our food. It really sux having to say no to her. We are soo used to sharing our food with her.
Still got goopy stuff coming from her nose. I know the bad stuff gotta find a way out and i really hope thats what it is.
Im not sure about the cbd oil. After she eats, she passes out. Im not even giving her that much. Have you ever had the dead weight of a pit bulls head on your arm? I bet that head of hers wieghs half her body weight😂.
Just want to thank everybody for the kind words, payers and encouragement.
Be careful with dogs and the ivermectin. Cats tolerate it well. Dogs are more sensitive to ivermectin, from what I read.
Only one specific breed, I believe it is the collie family and certain herding breeds. The following types of dogs have been found to be prone to the mdr1 gene mutation:
Australian Shepherd Border Collie Collie German Shepherd Dog Miniature American Shepherd Old English Sheepdog Shetland Sheepdog Skye Terrier Mixed-breeds that may have herding-breed heritage
Good to know. The powers that be can be vague with details and heavy on the fear porn. Thank you for this. I will look into it.
I have done quite a bit of research into Ivermectin and the other anthelmintics. Ther have been quite a few studies and anecdotal papers written. The herding breed canines are the only danger I have ever seen associated with Ivermectin. It is likely the safest compound out of virtually all the drugs out there. It seems that it doesn't cure every single type of cancer, that is a possible reason that different ones are stacked to help cover as many types as possible.
Thank you, Dex. I have seven dogs. Most of them are chihuahuas but two are big dogs. One is half mastiff, half St. Bernard. The other, I think, is a hovawart. She is the one that looks like she could have herding heritage. She came to our door one day and we wound up adopting her so I’m guessing.
Yes, there are some dogs that can’t use it. Specific breeds. But his vet will know which breed. I think they’re cattle dogs or sheep dogs, or one of them. They can do a genetics test to see if his dogs in that category. I think Pitbulls are OK, but he could be a mix, so better off to be tested first. Thanks for pointing that out.
