I was a product development manager at a juvenile products manufacturer in the ‘90s. We worked on infant positioning wedges, pads, etc coinciding with the AAP’s back to sleep campaign. As well as cribs, cradles, swings, etc.

Looking back on it all now it’s amazing the correlation between infant vaccines and the SIDS issue. And how I unintentionally became part of the situation as we took AAP recommendations at face value.
