Milei ends Argentine government use of ‘inclusive language’ promoted by gender ideology advocates
So-called “inclusive language” promoted by gender ideology advocates usually requires the modification of the grammatical gender of words so that they do not directly refer to masculine or feminine, using letters such as “x” and “e” or symbols like “@,” thus changing words like “todos” (a masculine generic for “everyone” whether men or women) for the gender neutral “todxs,” “todes,” or “tod@s.”
Excellent!
Like the article says, so-called "non-inclusive language" was never meant to be "non-inclusive". It was already inclusive to say "all men must pay their taxes"; women were not exempt from taxation, and no one would have ever understood it to be so back in the day. Etc.
The ONLY reason for inclusive language is to MAKE THE PAST LOOK BAD. Make us THINK they were sexist back in the day.
It's actually part of the Left's culture war to thoroughly cut the present off from the past, so THEY can be the "be-all, end-all".
It has nothing to do with inclusivity; it's all about power for the elites.
I was thinking about how this pronoun crap was actually being shoved down our throats 40 years ago, when they would present students with a sentence that would begin with a traditionally mans job, then half way thru the sentence they would use a female pronoun.
Example:
The lawyer was very upset, that she lost the case.
The firefighter put on her gear.
The NLF quarterback itched her nuts.
And it seems like there was just endless examples of these sentences we had to make our way thru, and it seemed so unnatural, and jarring, weird, forced, and unnecessary. Like as you were reading the sentence you had to stop and think because youd swear you mis-read something that was just so unbelievable
Perhaps the most memorable version was a story that went like this:
A man and his son are out for a car ride, and they are in a terrible accident. The man is killed instantly, but the son is rushed to the ER. The ER doctor takes one look at the patient and says i cant work on this patient, because he is my son.
What happened?
:::Students baffled:::
The ER doctor was his mom!
Anyway they just went way overboard with the gender neutral bullshit. Like calling a journeyman a journeyperson.
I dont want a journeyperson working on my shit.
I want a journeyman.
All of it … mailman / mail person Stewardess’s were replaced.. flight attendants , they could of had stewards and stewardess .. they don’t say female nurse but they used to say male nurse ,, now they are just nurse .. it’s all so fucked up !
