Like the “Boeing black” phone. Blackberry was secure but when they went under, Boeing needed a secure phone and had to develop their own. Works great but not for commoners...$$$
My guess is they will want you to pay $$$ for it too.
They do want $$$ for it but it's in line with what is already available in the market. Up Phone is asking for $949 which is good considering another privacy phone, Librem 5, starts at $999. And if you want the Librem 5 built in the USA the price is $2000. What sucks about the Up Phone is that the battery is not replaceable. The battery on the Librem is replaceable.
