For those who want to just see the clip clearly and also for context: MSM Coverage

On Feb. 29, contractors who work on YouTube Music were laid off while urging the Austin city council to support their bargaining efforts. The contractors view the layoff as retaliation for unionizing, while Google and Cognizant said it was a normal end of a business contract.

So they didn't fire staff, they ended contractors' contracts. As a contractor myself I can say that happens all the time.

Its notable, but I wish these articles would put more honest headlines. Its much better to share an article with normies that says "Google fires woke contractors" than give the impression its employees and then they come back and tell you that you are spreading fake news.
