I've heard since I was a teenager that "America is a corporation" but I never really grasped what the meant until now.
I don't have to do what the manager at Taco Bell tells me to do. I don't have to do what his district manager tells me to do or the CEO of Taco Bell tells me to do unless I agree to work for them and sign a contract.
In this case our parents agreed that we will work for the corporation when we were born. But we as individuals didn't agree. We can simply say "I do not comply" and they have no authority over us.
The united states of America (notice how "united" and "states" is not capitalized? That's because those words are a description of the states being united. When they are capitalized it is the name of the corporation) is a nation of LAWs. If we are going to defeat them we have to do it lawfully.
Of course we want mass arrests but the CEO of Taco Bell is not going to have security detain the fry cook when he's literally doing what his boss told him to do.
If we see him drop food on the floor and tries to throw it away but the supervisor tells him to serve it then why would we wait for the supervisor to come to our rescue?
We would need to go outside their system and rely on the system that was established in 1787.
In the words of OP "...we need to resurrect our old republic (or create a new republic, depending on how you look at it)". I say we do not need to establish a new one. The original was the greatest government ever established. It had flaws but we need to learn from the past mistakes. America is what it is because of our Constitution. The corporation had over 200 years to enslave us all and we're not quite there yet. Close, but not all the way. That's because we have a Constitution that some elected "officials" abide by because they don't realize they work for the corporation because the corporation has to trick people into working for them.
From darkness into light - all of the real "Law of the Land" and of the air as well as the water.
Maybe military is the only way but instead of civil war and public executions it's white vans in middle of the night.
Thanks for taking the time to respond so thoughtfully. Yes, we need to get back to our original constitution before all the bullshit amendments. It seems like people are relying too much on Trump. It's good to have faith in God and it's better to ask for his guidance and act on the things he puts in our heart. I know this will all work out for the good of humanity in the end, it's just that something is telling me that we the people are the ones that must and will save the country, not Trump or the military. God bless you fren.
