There's something like 95 percent of congressional medal of honor recipients played high school football. Football is a great sport. I don't support or watch the milk and circus show you're talking about, I don't even support college football anymore. No, it isn't the real culprit. If the NFL wasn't "allowing brain damage", there would still be contact sports, including football. If CTE is real, then there is a high number of athletes with it. Why isn't there a high number of athletes killing people? I call BS on using CTE as a scapegoat for when some immoral bastard kills somebody. Why have we not heard about UFC fighters killing anybody? Blame it on their upbringing, their lack of faith, whatever you want, but to blame it on playing a contact sport until their brain is mush is kind of ridiculous.
