Having grown up in a small one redlight Florida town, when I watch that movie, it reminds me so much of my own life.

And you know that scene from Smokey and the Bandit where the Sheriff tells them boys to stay by the car until someone comes to get them? That exact think happened to me, and a friend, but in our case the sheriff just told us he was going to talk to our parents, and if we weren't at the car when he got back he would arrest us.

He had no intention of talking to our parents though. We waited by the car until dark, and then took off.
