I understand and would have to point out that the example of California shows us welfare is a failed policy and the government shouldn’t be involved in picking winners and losers from subsidies in the first place. We should end all government subsidies and not give the government more ability to coerce and bribe people into behaving or “voting” a certain way, it’s not the governments responsibility and shouldn’t be taking my money to do so.
The policy of a militarized police state is not the answer either, especially when you have the same people in place that tyrannically used their power and authority to control that police state to be weaponized and used against productive law abiding business owners just trying to feed their families.
I’m merely pointing out that the answer to these problems doesn’t lie in creating and giving more control and power to the corrupt individuals who continue to hold authority over the implementation of those policies it’s just a distraction to appease the angered mob.
I totally agree, but SF is not going to all of the sudden become Red, so at the very least they are showing the world that they have failed.
Failed is subjective.
What if the goal was long term and through enabling drugs, not prosecuting crimes and covid lockdowns they created a situation that would deflate property values, destroy small businesses and enable the greatest transfer and stealing of wealth this world has ever seen. Hedge funds and corporate investors snatched up prime real estate and failing businesses for Pennie’s on the dollar just in time for the 4th industrial revolution and corporate controlled smart city building spree?
