But what was even more profound was this response by:
I can't say I've ever heard the term "conspiracy therapist" before, and I see how it fits for this post as these items are therapeutic, to be sure. But, I think that term has far more potential. It's such a great comeback phrase for people who use the term "conspiracy theorist". Better than saying, "no, I'm a spoiler alertist" when people tell you that you are a conspiracy theorist. In other words, when someone says "you are a conspiracy theorist" you can rebut by saying, "no, I'm a conspiracy therapist". You can add (optional), "it's a sad truth, but people in power do conspire, so many of those theories are proven true. I'm here to help you separate the true ones from the fake ones, and I'm here to help you cope with the real ones." By saying you are a conspiracy therapist, you easily and immediately enter the premise that the existence of conspiracies are a given fact. It also establishes you as an expert with knowledge. Both of these are subtle rhetorical devices. Plus, it is easy to see how this retort could take the place of antonym in language use. Sort of like how Pro Life has become the antonym to Pro Choice. Thanks, fren, for coining this term. We should all start using it. It's taking the place of my go-to response.

I'll just say "Proudly so, yes!" when told I'm a conspiracy theorist. It's long past time to take our language back and destroy the little innuendos and associations the loser left has been trying to attach to our language in an attempt to twist, distort, taint and invert it.
"Gender-affirming care" is sadistic mutilation of a person's body by greedy, soulless hatchet-men (and women) "surgeons" taking advantage of vulnerable, confused and desperate people. "Safe spaces" are destructive echo-chambers implemented to isolate and coddle weak-minded, belligerent individuals who don't want to face up to having ideas they inwardly know to be false questioned and scrutinized by reasonable people. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...
And a conspiracy theorist is one who, usually by being particularly sensitive to subtle clues and signs, delves into a topic with an open mind to research and uncover facts and hypothesize about potential ulterior motives in an effort to uncover the truth and expose subterfuge. Unlike many in the general public, a conspiracy theorist does not shy away from positing theories pertaining to particularly evil conspirators because the thought is "too scary" or not "socially acceptable".
While we may end up being comforters or "therapists" in the aftermath of disclosure, I'm happy to continue entertaining theories about potential conspiracies, searching for truth that's often hidden and do whatever miniscule part I can in exposing bad individuals.
Well defined my fren...I couldn’t have said it better myself.
I agree 100%, I’m just suggesting that we could do both.
