I rode with my dad Saturday to go see my mom in the nursing home. While in the car he gets a call from someone in a doctors office asking him questions about his health. Are you feeling better (hip replacement last fall)? Is your back still hurting? Have you been sick? Any changes in medication? Let us know if you get RSV symptoms. He answered the questions and she said I’ll load $40.00 to your card. I’m not the type person to listen and to that and not ask questions. My dad, it’s that medical study I was in. I got the RSV vaccine before it was approved. 🤬🤦🏻‍♀️☹️ I’ve finally learned not to give my opinion. We aren’t that close, get along now but most my life we have argued really bad. We finally get along and he’s even texting me recently Merry Christmas and Happy Valentines. I can tell he’s trying and even though home life had its bad times I had a great childhood it was a great experience. I was taken care of had everything we needed and traveled a lot. I knew about the medical study over a year ago. He got violently sick driving home a year or maybe two years ago. Had to pull over and get over the spell. Got home and didn’t have the energy to get a Coke out of the fridge. He called my brother over to get it. He drank it and threw up the rest of the night he was very weak. I was worried and tried to get him to get checked out. It’s ok, it’s the side effects of the shots I’m getting in the medical study. It was all I could do not to fly off the handle at him for being so stupid. The man doesn’t need money. He’s worked hard all his life and saved from the beginning in addition to the company stock. He’s tight and won’t run the heat past 66 and won’t run the AC. The only thing he spends money on is a new car every two years, clothes, my mom and eating out. But you would think he’s dirt poor the way he talks about getting $40 & $50 for this or that. $50 for each shot and I guess $40 for taking the calls. His doctor recommended it to him. Of course the doctor is making money. I had a little bit of hope when he decided to not get the 3rd booster. He had the audacity to ask if I wanted to do the current female study. I said, Hell No! I don’t trust big pharma.

Then later on Saturday he went with my husband and myself to eat local BBQ. He has said for the past year he wishes someone would shoot Biden. I’ve been telling him that’s not Biden and Obama was running things. He gives the impression that he thinks I’m crazy. He’s always glued to Fox News and even in the car. As he always does when he’s in the car with someone he gets on the phone and calls people. He’s talking to a friend and It’s Obama running things not Biden comes out of his mouth. My husband and I look at each with huge eyes and grinning. Finally after four years red pill 💊 has happened.

Don’t give up on your family and friends. Pray for them. We aren’t in control of our destiny and certainly not in control of someone else. (With the exception of accepting Jesus and eternal life).
