Sorry, but too many people think that "doing the reseach" means sitting on line looking for stuff that already confirms your beliefs, and makes you feel validated.

That's not reseach.

There are things going on the world right now that are incredible, but that doesn't mean that everything incredible is true. Apply some reasoning, don't just believe any old nonsense because it feels reassuring.
