Thank you for sharing this and the links. They fear the spiritual connection we have with God and use this to push the you are a nut job to scare people away.
My suspicion is that inner monologue is tied to connection with spirit and discernment.

Is it possible to discern, if you can’t weigh and measure? One person noted that IM might be tied to intelligence, and I’d be curious how it’s possible to reason in logic with no internal voice.
If so, it may be why some people get so irritated at attempts at reasoning, it exposes that they can’t participate. They literally don’t have the faculties for it.
