One thing I love about this song is each guy brings a unique perspective to "Patriot" - Military, Firemen, and Police may all fight different battles but in the end are they not against the same enemy? Because that enemy is anything that seeks to harm the people.
Plus, The first guy mentions how when he came home from duty everyone loved him until he said he was a Trump supporter and suddenly they turned on him.
I know for some of us older frens here, the lyrics might be a bit hard to keep up with...But, I think there's still plenty enough in this for you to appreciate. :)
