You may want to break out the calculator on this. At home, and at night, the EV will charge based on your utility costs. If you have solar roof, then it’s essentially “free”

Compare a 250 mile battery with your gas tank. It’s about half the cost of gasoline. It all comes from your bank- do you pay electric company or Exxon?
