I believe there is some metadata in the image, that indicates horizontal/vertical original. Many viewers can flip the picture accordingly. My guess would be you took the picture while your phone was tilted (horizontal), and the HTML is rendering it without taking this metadata into consideration. Well, something like that, anyway... :)
