was this guy a college grad that enlisted originally then went on to acquire a commission? because if he snuck in under the wire at 29yrs old, then he has 31 years in the service. at 31 years in, why is he allowed to remain if he was only a lt cmdr? Yes. Your observations are all valid. Unless you are a doctor, the age limit to Commission is 35. Even still … if you dont progress in your career, 99.9% of the time you get bounced.
