I know a guy who is 1/4 Native American, but the same people who will agree that men can be women in one breath, and that you can identify as whatever you want in another, will turn around in a third breath, in the same conversation, even, and tell him he can’t be Native American because he has white skin.
Does that mean that’s an appropriate response, or even that it matters? Maybe not, but be aware of the game, and that they’ll play it when it suites them, and discard it when it suites them.
Alinsky Rule 4: Make the enemy live up to its own set of rules.
