My oldest friend came to visit and said: Funny how all the crazy things you've been talking about for so long are happening now.

That was sweet, after all the flak and derision I've had from so many. Thankfully she listened without passing judgement, and is now the first to admit it was not conspiracy twaddle.

The tide IS turning!

Old friends. The people in a smallish town you’ve known all your life. Always liberal (SO much judgement and outrage, always). Saw several of them recently and I SWEAR they are in hell. Bent over, cowering almost. They know. NCSWIC.

I’m not as nice about that as I should be, I guess. ALL MY LIFE these people have “run” this community. I’m pissed. I hope every realization is another jolt to their soul.
