My ex-FIL always told us to wait until St. Paddy's day to put out all your 'root' crops, especially potatoes. So since that is my birthday, it is hard Not to forget.

I would go crazy with excitement if my birthday was on St. Patrick's Day...my paternal Grandfather's family was from Dublin and my PawPaw was at one with the soil. His garden was always the best!
