I'm pointing out that it's not simply a "leftist" issue. There's definitely a prevailing opinion here that only liberals are gay.

It's understood that homosexuality occurs across the political spectrum. What most conservatives believe is that it is a deviant sexual preference, and should be kept in the closet and not celebrated and promoted.
