Pretty sure that if DJT loses the 2024 election the US is done for.
No, I don't think the US will be done for if Trump loses 2024. Just like I don't think the US will be done for when the next President, who won't be Trump, is elected in 2028.
As much as I love Trump, the idea that he alone can save the country is ludicrous. I really wish people would focus more on policies and trying to come up with ways to make the party stronger rather than making one man the end all, be all of the future of our country.
What are people planning on doing after Trump is reelected in 2024 and is then ineligible to be President again? Just never vote again?
We've put Trump so far up on a pedestal that it's going to be difficult to find someone to follow him. And we've pretty much blown through the top Republicans in the country (those who ran against Trump in the primaries and most of the Republicans in Congress)and have very vocally stated how horrible they are as politicians and as people. So it's going to be a challenge to find someone that will have a strong chance to win 2028.
I think that we might have shot ourselves in the foot with this. Or at least grazed it. Because we've spent the past 10+ years making everything about Trump, the man, rather than the policies of the Republican party. And we've been pretty vocal and rabid whenever anyone has dared challenged him, that we've seriously tarnished the public perception of virtually every Republican who might have otherwise had a chance of winning 2028.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens in 2028, and how MAGA is going to cope after Trump is out of politics.
It makes me wonder if people ever thought about what they'll do after Trump's second term in office. Because many have made it clear that they support Trump, not the Republican party. And people like Trump only come around every 50-100 years or so.
The DS is trying to make an example out of Trump. If Biden somehow wins re-election we know the DS is in control and the only way to shake off the DS shackles is civil war. If Trump wins, I expect a draining of the swamp.
Draining the swamp isn't a "one and done" thing. Trump drained the swamp during his first term as well. There will always be new corrupt politicians coming in.
There seems to be this weird idea that Trump is just going to basically eradicate evil from the planet if he gets reelected and then we'll all live in perfect harmony for the rest of time.
So Trump may drain the swamp. It will simply refill over time.
Which is why I think it's more important to focus on policy and think up better ways to do things than to think one man (who is pretty elderly, in all honesty) is going to save America and, I dunno, watch over it like Batman or something, constantly jumping to the rescue when needed.
Trump didn’t drain the swamp, he exposed it. Swamp creatures are trying to retain power. As of right now, Trump is the only presidential candidate I trust, and even then I don’t trust him 100%. Both rinos and dems go after him so, in my opinion, he is the man for the job right now. If the dems win in November, I see our rights being further eroded by the globalists and it will require civil war to regain them.

Just curious, how do you see a civil war playing out over this?
Who do you see fighting in this? If Biden is still in office during it, who do you think the military will answer to? Trump or Biden?
