I just went and did a search and found that Antony Anderson is a comedian who was born in Compton, California. It turns out he filled in as host on Jimmy Kimmel Live, a year ago, while Kimmel was on vacation.

His monologue was so boring I stopped watching after he introduced his mother one and a half minutes into the video. Obviously they wouldn't get a guest host to present the show if he outshone the regular host. Antony Anderson is not funny.
