A building, no matter who owns it, no matter how much gold is on it, and any threat it or it's owner is under, is in anyway equivalent to what Jesus did or endured. He, who did not know sin, was made to be our sin. This was done for our sake and he took our punishment on the cross. Salvation was granted to those who would believe for Jesus' sake. There is no comparison.
What he did for us makes me incredibly happy but I cry at the same time when I think about it. We can never repay him and I’m just glad to be included in this great experience where I can hopefully continue to fight for righteousness.
