Port is left starboard is right.. former sailor here-the wreckage will take a long time to clear, thus blocking the channel right where the bridge was highest above the water line...

Flynn had a video he posted that was very informative. My take from the video is that the ship was hacked and the propeller lost power. The drifting ship was steered to starboard by the water moving through an ideling propeller. When the power came back on the ship had already turned toward the bridge. The port anchor got dropped proving the crew was trying to turn to port to avoid the collision. Also, full power in reverse was applied creating the "rollin' coal" diesel truck effect of what anons are calling a fire. The power went down a second time probable sealing the crash corse after the crew started trying to save it.
I think the ship got hacked by those who knew when to do it and where it would drift to.
Lots of hacking experience like the destroyers and Evergreen in the Suez Canal...
