Yup. The Nazi Gestapo did this same thing by asking neighbors, family and friends to snitch on one other. The Progressive Left actions are very much like Nazis. They may project their evil and cry "racist Nazi!" onto conservatives, but conservatives know the score...and the United States Constitution.
