Not at all, all the quantum stuff was done long ago and confirmed by Wheeler and Bell. Gravitational waves are integral to the Theory of Relativity. Imaging Black holes? Sure, but we have known about black holes a very long time.
Why do none of the newer theories seem to pan out? String theory is a bust. Dark Matter and Energy, create more questions than answers. Is the only 'advance' of physics today to confirm old theories without reconciling any of the inconsistanies?
I can’t think of a more throw-way sentiment than “is the only advance proving theory?”. What a hand-wave you did there. Yeah, confirmation of theory is huge. HUGE.
Modern physics as we know it is maybe 200 years old, in reality really 125 years. To move from theory to confirmation to application in that timespan is an amazing feat. It’s a shame you can’t relish in it. It’s a fun time to be alive on that front.
Yeah, about that... The fact that you consider that settled science lets me know we aren't cut from the same cloth, in spite of your ability to rattle off a few names (though you've now referred to Dirac spinors as both "Dirac's Spinors" and "Spinor's") https://www.space.com/james-webb-space-telescope-science-denial

First we have to find the flaw in the current theories. I suspect Mills theories are headed in the right direction wedded with Dirac's Spinors.
Yes it might be an exciting time if we are smart enough to figure it out. It has been fun seeing the Big Bang theory disproven.
