Just put ice in a glass of water and fill it to the rim. If the ice melts, according to global warming, the water should begin to overflow the glass.
Glaciers are on land. Adding ice to your glass of water raises the water. Moot point though, as glaciers have been growing in size lately and global change is a complete myth.
