trukee is a very difficult airport. looks like a spin/stall. that aircraft had auto-deicing. it's possible autopilot was compensating trim as they arrived at the airport. when they disengaged autopilot, the pilot (who is very experienced) struggled to maintain control of his aircraft. southbound over the airport he disengaged ap, then did a hard right bank to the north west gaining altitude. the bank started with a scary drop in altitude followed by a punch upward in altitude. then a bit of a level off followed by the classic spin/stall drop like a rock. he was about 1300 feet above the deck, no time to recover.
